Anthropic's Seoul office launch marks the company's most significant Asia-Pacific footprint expansion. The announcement bundles a government agreement with a series of major enterprise deployments covering a large share of Korea's largest technology companies.\n\nNAVER, one of Asia's leading cloud and AI platforms, is deploying Claude Code across its entire engineering organization — thousands of engineers — making it one of the largest single Claude Code rollouts announced to date. Nexon, the global gaming company, uses Claude Code for code review and deployment for live-service games. Samsung SDS is deploying Claude to employees across Samsung Electronics for knowledge work, agentic workflows, and software development at scale. LG CNS is rolling out Claude to thousands of employees for software development and technology solutions delivery. Hanwha Solutions is accessing Claude through AWS Bedrock with in-region data residency to meet strict security requirements.\n\nThe government dimension carries separate significance: Anthropic signed an MOU with Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT to collaborate on AI safety, Korean-language model safety evaluation with the Korea AI Safety Institute, and AI-enabled cyber threat information sharing.\n\nThe volume and breadth of these enterprise deployments indicate large-scale production adoption — not pilots — at companies operating at global scale across cloud, gaming, electronics manufacturing, and energy.
