Anthropic and DXC Technology signed a multi-year global alliance to embed Claude inside legacy IT systems at the world's largest banks, airlines, and insurers — DXC already used Claude to generate 95%+ of the code for its OASIS platform, now deployed to 50+ enterprise clients.

DXC Technology, with 115,000 employees across 70 countries and decades-long relationships managing mission-critical IT for regulated enterprises, is entering a multi-year global alliance with Anthropic to bring Claude into the legacy systems DXC operates. The deal's distinctive mechanism is DXC's forward-deployed engineer (FDE) model: engineers embedded directly inside customer organizations, trained and certified through Anthropic Academy before placement.\n\nDXC's credibility for this work comes from having already deployed Claude internally under the same stringent security and compliance requirements its clients face. In April 2026, DXC launched OASIS — an AI-native managed services orchestration platform where Claude is the default foundation model. More than 95% of OASIS's code was generated by Claude and reviewed by DXC software engineers, accelerating development by a factor of 10 per DXC's estimate. OASIS is already deployed to 50+ DXC customers globally.\n\nThe alliance initially targets four sectors: Insurance (agentic solutions and core systems modernization), Modernization as a Service (legacy system transformation), and two additional practice areas. DXC is also joining the Claude Partner Network, providing Anthropic a channel into banking, aviation, manufacturing, and government infrastructure that would otherwise require years of individual sales.\n\nThe scale of legacy systems involved — financial transactions, claims processing, airline operations, government services — makes this a significant channel for AI adoption in infrastructure historically resistant to modernization.
