Nvidia's Gamescom 2026 announcements for GeForce NOW focus on three areas: new DLSS 4.5 controls, expanded device and platform support, and an upcoming slate of major PC game launches in the cloud. The DLSS 4.5 controls are the most technically significant addition. Ultimate members will be able to adjust Super Resolution for image sharpness, Dynamic Frame Generation for lower latency, and Ray Reconstruction for ray-traced visual quality directly within the GeForce NOW interface — without needing local hardware that supports those features. This is notable because it extends RTX-grade AI rendering to devices like older PCs, TVs, and Macs that cannot run DLSS locally. Platform expansions include GOG single sign-on (removing repeated logins), Steam Machine with Steam Controller support coming this fall, and Firefox browser support. Additional Amazon Fire TV device compatibility is also mentioned. On the games side, launch-day cloud access is confirmed for CONTROL Resonant, Gears of War: E-Day, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, The Blood of Dawnwalker, and STAR WARS Zero Company. A 12-month Ultimate membership offers CONTROL Resonant as a bonus for a limited time.
