Towards Data Science has launched ShipAI, a video showcase where AI practitioners demonstrate projects they've actually shipped. Each entry is a 4-15 minute screen-share walkthrough in which the builder explains inspiration, implementation approach, and lessons learned — closer to a live demo than a blog post. Every project page includes AI-generated key takeaways for quick triage, a lightly cleaned searchable transcript, stack notes linking out to the models and infrastructure used, and pointers to GitHub, Hugging Face, or live deployments. Builders also receive profile pages collecting all their published work. ShipAI opens with more than 30 walkthroughs from founding builders, most already known as TDS authors. Early entries include a retrieval experiment on RAG chunk sizes, an AI damage-report generator for warehouse operations, and a CV reimagined as a playable video game. Submissions span weekend projects to production systems. The same editorial team that vets TDS articles reviews ShipAI submissions, prioritizing clarity and practical value over production polish. Builders can submit by recording with any screen capture tool and sending the link via the submission form.
