CrowdStrike launched SafeMind, an agentic cybersecurity system built on NVIDIA Nemotron open models and post-trained on CrowdStrike's 15+ years of threat data, shipping natively in the Falcon platform with an autonomous offense-defense coevolution loop designed to continuously harden customer environments.

CrowdStrike and NVIDIA announced SafeMind at Fal.Con 2026 in Las Vegas, putting frontier-class agentic AI directly into the Falcon platform. SafeMind combines CrowdStrike's purpose-built cybersecurity models with NVIDIA Nemotron open models — specifically Nemotron 3 Ultra for orchestration and a fine-tuned Nemotron 3 Super for rule generation — both post-trained on CrowdStrike's proprietary threat intelligence and decade-plus security data. The system's core mechanism is a continuous coevolution loop: offensive and defensive AI agents challenge each other in cycles, each side adapting to strengthen the other. CEO George Kurtz framed the problem directly — attackers already had frontier AI, defenders did not. SafeMind is CrowdStrike's answer, and unlike a copilot or chatbot wrapper, it is described as a ground-up frontier model built on CrowdStrike data. Alongside SafeMind, CrowdStrike announced Falcon IQ to operationalize Project QuiltWorks through agentic workload automation, and expanded its Guardian AI safety solution. The Fal.Con 2026 conference drew 10,000 security professionals from financial services, healthcare, and critical infrastructure sectors. A caveat: performance claims reference CrowdStrike's internal 'Blue Solano' model evaluations, not third-party benchmarks. Independent validation has not been published yet.
