NVIDIA expanded its AI for Media SDK suite at IBC 2026, with its Synthetic Video Detector reaching 99.3% accuracy on AI-generated video identification, and partnerships with Dalet, TwelveLabs, and Wowza embedding deepfake detection into broadcast workflows across 35,000+ deployments.

At IBC 2026 in Amsterdam (Sept 11-14), NVIDIA announced a major expansion to NVIDIA AI for Media — its collection of GPU-accelerated SDKs, NIM microservices, and blueprints for media and entertainment workflows. The headlining update is the Synthetic Video Detector (SVD) NIM microservice, which now achieves 99.3% accuracy for text-to-video content and 97.7% for image-to-video content, with especially large gains on difficult image-to-video cases. Three major integrations were announced: Dalet is embedding SVD into cloud-hosted news verification workflows for editorial teams; TwelveLabs launched Compliance by TwelveLabs as its first commercial application, combining SVD frame-level authenticity signals with its video intelligence platform for broadcast content screening; and Wowza is distributing SVD across its Wowza Streaming Engine deployments — more than 35,000 video deployments in 170+ countries — for real-time live-stream analysis. For enterprise media buyers, these integrations matter because they bring deepfake detection into existing broadcast workflows rather than requiring separate validation pipelines. The accuracy figures come from NVIDIA's own reporting, with independent validation not yet publicly available.
